Living a sustainable lifestyle doesn’t always have to be about “buying less”. Reducing consumption is great, but at the end of the day, we do still have to buy things. It’s inevitable. And where you choose to buy from is incredibly important and holds A LOT of power. That my friends is why buying from local small businesses is the way to go. ❤️

Milwaukee would not be the same without our beautiful local shops. Let’s give them some love! It looks good on you.

a gentle reminder that over the holidays, it’s not realistic to always be plastic-free, or perfectly non-toxic.
there will be days when you forget to bring your reusables. that’s okay. someone will gift you something you don’t want. take it as an opportunity to regift to someone that will use it! you might have put off getting a gift for someone and grabbed something silly last minute. not a huge deal. you’ll eat cookies that have dairy in them, but they’ll taste dang good.
the holidays are stressful enough as it is. give yourself some grace. ☺️
